Whistler Blackcomb Downhill Mountain Biking
Experience mountain biking at its best in Whistler's Mountain Bike Park. There is enough variety in terrain to please everybody from beginners to experts. With over 200 kilometres (124 miles) of lift-serviced trails and mountain pathways – and two jump park areas – your self-guided adventures can span 1,200 metres (3,936 feet) of trail.
Whistler Blackcomb Skiing/Boarding
Whistler Blackcomb has great skiing and riding variety. Choose from steeps, deeps, chutes, high alpine bowls, glades, superb corduroy or long cruisers. Have a go at Blackcomb's World Cup Superpipe, natural launch pads, hits, wind lips, cornices, cliff drops and ridges.

Bear Viewing and Mountain Ecology Tours
Experience unforgettable views of wildlife, glacial peaks and sunsets as you travel through the old-growth coastal hemlock and cedar forests of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. Some 50 black bears make their home here, including 12 mothers who share their territories with a growing number of daughters.
Accompany researcher Michael Allen as he guides you through some of the most pristine black bear habitat in North America. Navigate mountain access roads and rolling green trails in a comfortable four-wheel-drive vehicle to visit active bear dens, day beds and feeding sites – and perhaps witness evening play between a mother and her cubs!

Museums This historical site contains an Admission Complex, Interpretation Centre, and a new Gift Shop featuring a large selection of mineral-related items, including rocks, jewellery and books. At the Mining House, hear a real-life mine story – and see the enormous Concentrator Building and the 235-ton “Super” Mine Truck. If you book in advance with a tour guide, you can catch the Underground Train and experience a real hard rock mine with live demonstrations.

The West Coast Railway Association's origins can be traced back to 1958, when the steam engine was in its last days. The Association has grown and evolved since then, but its purpose remains the same: to collect, preserve and restore railway cars and artifacts. In addition, the Association operates a licensed railway.
Enjoy the romance and prestige of train travel as the West Coast Railway Heritage Park treats you to interesting rail adventures of scenic and historic locations. These are a must for railway enthusiasts, photography buffs and geography devotees.

ATV All-Terrain Adventures
Hit the back roads and kick up some dirt while taking part in professionally guided All-Terrain Adventure Tours. The all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) are modern, four-wheel drive, simple to operate, easy to master and checked for safety. With an ATV, gain access to dirt roads, the backcountry, miles of trails and vast open play areas. Get ready to explore – rain or shine! Advance reservation required.
Mountaineering
If you are looking for the next big challenge, the Whistler area has breathtaking alpine mountaineering routes. Some summits are reached by pure alpine rock climbing and others involve a mix of glacier travel, snow and ice climbing.
Local guides and courses, from beginner to advanced, are available to the thrill-seeking mountain adventurer. Popular climbs are Wedge Mountain at 2904 metres (9,525 feet), Mt. Matier at 2770 metres (9,085 feet) and Blackcomb Peak at 2346 metres (7,694 feet).
Peak 2 Peak Gondola
This gondola spans the distance between Whistler and Blackcomb in just 11 minutes. Skiers and riders can make the most of their day by moving with ease across the valley to enjoy the best snow and weather in each alpine area. The gondola makes it possible to carve up Whistler's slopes, head to Blackcomb for a victory lap and loop back to Whistler for a well-deserved hot-chocolate break.
Ziptrek Ecotours
Ride on a series of steel cables and suspension bridges to see Whistler’s ancient forests from aerial platforms, bridges and trails. Tours last approximately three hours and depart daily from Ziptrek’s base in Whistler Village. No experience is necessary and all equipment is provided. Advance reservation required.

Visitors to Whistler will enjoy a host of unique shops and upscale boutiques: Whistler Village, Blackcomb/Upper Village, Village North, Creekside Village and Nester’s Market. All of these – with the exception of Creekside – are within easy walking distance. Creekside is a 10-minute drive.
Theatre/Performing arts
Maurice Young Millennium Place
This centre hosts music, dance, drama, film and lecture presentations. Concerts take place throughout the year.
